This is a 1969 reproduction of a topographical view of Middelburg, the capital of the Dutch province of Zeeland. The original engraving, done by an anonymous copper engraver, dates from 1670. The reproduction was printed as part of “Prints from hand colored engravings of European cities; Veduten of the 17th and 18th centuries” by Edition Korsch.
The topographical view is beautifully reproduced on rich and textured paper. The print is tastefully matted and framed.
