This important lithograph, Il est pour l'etudiant celui qui s'etudie [A student is one who studies himself], was produced during the height of the French student protests and civil unrests of 1968. The poster was to benefit the Union nationale des etudiants de France. Designed by Pierre Alechinsky and printed by Bernard Dufour, the poster measures c.15.5”x 23” (c.40x58cm). Copies of the lithograph can be found in a number of public and private collections including the Musée Carnavalet, Paris and the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam.
