This intimate piece is an original etching after Albrecht Dürer’s Akelei watercolour from the collection of the Albertina Museum in Vienna, Austria. The etching is signed and hand coloured. The following text in German can be found at the bottom left: “Akelei n. Dürer; Org. Radierung” (Columbine after Dürer; original etching).
The print is in good condition. There are some minor spots (foxing?). The work is elegantly framed with a golden and green trim.
