The watercolour and ink painting by Wendy Trethewey depicts Ottawa’s Stanley Park and Minto Bridge. Trethewey is an accomplished portrait and military artist. Recipient of a scholarship from the Banff School of Fine Arts, Trethewey’s work can be found in many public and private collections throughout Canada, the USA, Australia and England. A large collection of her work is deposited at the Canadian War Museum as part of the Beaverbrook Collection of War Art.
