A distinctive Mid-Century Modern table lamp designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier, model PL-79424. The lamp features a streamlined cylindrical stem and circular base supporting a broad, rounded white plastic shade, creating a clean, sculptural silhouette characteristic of postwar American design. The simple geometric form and monochromatic finish give the lamp a restrained yet distinctly modern presence. Late 1960s–1970s.
Condition: Good vintage condition with light surface wear and minor marks consistent with age. The dome is delicate and should be handled with care. Lamp works well but, given its age, electrical components should be checked by a qualified professional before continuous use.
Size: Approx. 20 in. high × 13 in. diameter
